Da Jersey Blogmeet
April 2, 2005 the date of the first Jersey Blogmeet is fast approaching. On the date of the Blogmeet, Kid Various will be located in his secure bunker miles away from civilization (the Kid's main complaint about bunker life has been that Dick Cheney keeps bogarting the Playstation.) Mr. Scriblerus will be sequestered in his own Fortress of Solitude tucked away in the Arctic latitudes.
Thus the role of the Idiom's ambassodor to the blogworld at large falls to our own Mr. Surly. There is also the fact that Mrs. Surly, also known as T.J. from Twisty, is going. As you all know, the editors of The Idiom value our anonymity (and our jobs) more than anything else. The impending public appearance of Mr. Surly (egads there might be photos!) poses quite a dilemma for us. To remedy this we ask you the loyal readers of our humble blog to help select the appropriate disguise for our own Mr. Surly. We thank you.

My vote was for the Phantom mask.
If you crazy kids are really sweating Mr. Surly's appearance, in addition to clever disguise, methinks we have two other options:
#1: Pack him a bagged lunch and drop him off for a play date at Fortress del Scriblerus.
OR
#2: Tell everyone, "No, this *isn't* Mr. Surly. This is Julio, my Latin lover!"
- Mrs. Surly
I didn't realize that the American Legion Post 35 was within driving distance of the North Pole, the secret location of the Scriblerus Fortress of Solitude.
According to the Yahoo Spanish/English Dictionary Mr. Surly is translated as Sr. Malhumorado. Think anyone would catch on?
The ski mask option.
Is that JUST a ski mask??
; )
If he shows up wearing just a ski mask, he's outta there. I am the reigning monarch of the Post Bar, with absolute power.
It's great to be King.
Mr. Scriblerus, I was searching the web for kidder water ski and came across Da Jersey Blogmeet (this post). It wasn't exactly what i was looking for but nonetheless, it is quite interesting.
I also have a cool site about kidder water ski, and you can check it out here: kidder water ski.
Oh, almost forgot. I found a cool site that is giving away a FREE Sony DVD Handycam. Perhaps you or your other visitors may be interested. Just click the link below and enter your Zipcode to see if the promotion is available in your area.
