NEWSFLASH: Star Trek is now officially dead.

Mr. Surly strongly encourages his fellow members of the editorial staff here at the Idiom, whose posts have often made reference to Star Trek, even though such reference was tortured and strained, to henceforth cease and desist further posting about said science fiction entertainment in light of this now obvious fact. That is all.
