Friday Sci-fi
Hey, did anyone notice that the Organians showed up on Star Trek: Enterprise this week?
Anyone? Anyone?
Wut up wit dat?
And does anyone agree that Battlestar Galactica is surprisingly good? Is Baltar going to end up with the Cylons?
And
What is the connection between Baltar and the Organians?
Dinner at Baig's Grill for whoever can figure it out...

First, I must admit the new Battlestar Galactica is pretty darn entertaining. The acting is extremely good as are the scripts, and special effects. My only complaint is that the show jumps into the action pretty fast. I wish the show would have taken a just a little time to establish the human culture and history, to contrast that with the current refugee status of the human population. Just a little exposition, so the series feels more real and rounded. What's all this Kobol stuff about? What's the major religion like? What's the Colonial's reach and knowlege of space. Litte details that might make the show moreunderstandable and enjoyable.
Second, in answer to the trivia question, John Colicos, the original Baltar also played the Klingon Kor in the the original Star Trek episode "Errand of Mercy" featuring, yup you guessed it, thr Organians. Oh, I've wasted my life.
And by showing us just how pathetic he is, Mr. Surly has won a dinner at Baig's Grille!
"But Aquaman! You cannot marry a woman without gills! You are from two different worlds!"
